Tomoya Fukui

Master Student in Nagoya Institute of Technology

About Me

I'm a master student at Nagoya Institute of Technology and will graduate in March 2020. My interests are designs of human-computer interaction, machine learning agents for helping human, and data science related to human behaviors.

As my experiences, I belonged to the robot contest club in Nagoya Institute of Technology and controlled the automatical robot, image processing, SLAM, team management, and so on. As internships, I analyze e-mail data and medical data by Python to implement machine learning technologies and statistical analysis. My study is to propose a new protocol for human-agent interaction from the view of negotiation.

Projects

ロボコン工房: Robot Contest Club

We make robots to aim to win NHK Students Robot Contest. For example, this picture shows a badminton robot which plays automatically. My works in this club are automatical robot control, image processing, SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), team management, and so on.

Jupiter: Automated Negotiaion Simulator

Jupiter is a negotiation environment that implements an open architecture for automated negotiating agents. It provides a testbed for negotiating agents like Genius, a previous work about negotiation environment. Jupiter can work on Jupyter Notebook and it is easy to implement and experiment machine learning algorithms.
